This was the first to ripen.

I kept this really simple, just natural daylight through a window,nice slow shutter speed and stopped down aperture,  thats it nothing else.

The work of German photographer Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932) was my main source of inspiration. His work was so simple and elegant almost akin to a line drawing.

I think I will use this style for my Autumn Project, that is until something else chatches my eye!!

Again this is work in progress so I am experimenting with colours and styles etc. Autumn is a great time as plants become more architectural. Many people cut them down when they die but I prefer to leave them all winter until the first shoots of spring. If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to post.

Autumn is a great time as plants become more architectural. Many people cut them down when they die but I prefer to leave them all winter until the first shoots of spring. Well here are a few of photographs of dead stuff, I hope to add more, not sure of the style yet, I think I like it but I may change it yet. Please feel free to comment.
