Finally got around to working on some of the photographs from Prague which incidentally are now a month old, where does time go. Here is one of the photographs I took during my visit to Prague Castle.
Well what a week last week was. Very busy all week. I photographing down in London during the early part of the week, great client Starr and Partners solicitors, they always make you feel welcome. I will be trying to catch up with post production and issuing invoices next week (yawn!! but it has to be done). First commercial video shoot next week so fingers crossed.
Anyway here is a photograph from last week.
Well what a week of learning. I have spent all week learning video and production techniques. It has been a very steep learning curve and I have an very long way to go but it has been really exciting learning something new. I have found many of the composing techniques have a great deal in common with stills photography. Well I now feel confident to have a go. I have set up a mock interview this Wednesday with City Press which I will be filming, I am a bit nervous but also really excited. I have planned the shots out so all being well it should go smoothly.
After all this learning I am going away to Prague for a few days to work on some of my personal architectural photography. It should be a nice few days break and good opportunity to update my portfolio and stock library.
For around a year now I have been looking into shooting video. Well after a great deal of research I will take the plunge and have a go.
How strange that just as I had decided I would venture into this area a very good client of mine City Press contacted me asking if I shot video.
Well I won’t go into too much details as it is all up in the air at the moment, but I will probably be combining it with photo-shoots.
Its all very exciting and I am really looking forward to this.
I will let you know how I get on.
Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to clients and readers alike.
See you in the New Year
