Continuing the Autumn photographic project, over the weekend I decided to photograph my first pumpkin of the year. This was the first to ripen.
I kept this really simple, just natural daylight through a window, nice slow shutter speed and stopped down aperture, thats it nothing else.
The work of German photographer Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932) was my main source of inspiration. His work was so simple and elegant almost akin to a line drawing.
I think I will use this style for my Autumn Project, that is until something else chatches my eye!!
Please feel free to leave a comment.
