Hi
You probably remember earlier this week was looking at photographing the exterior of the Midland Hotel, Morecambe. Well yesterday it was a beautiful Autumn day, so off I went to Morecambe. Here are three photographs as a taster of what is yet to come, I will probably add more photographs to my website as a set, towards the end of the month. Feel free to comment.

absolutely luv the first one Paul
Love the second one. Grandparents had a small hotel in Morecambe. I always loved The Midland Hotel ever since I was little, grew up and learnt about architecture and Art Deco. It was quite heart breaking to see it in such a bad state of repair. Was overjoyed when it finally got restored. Haven’t yet had the pleasure to stay there yet, hopefully next year.
The second photo suggests to me that the Hotel is an angel risen up against its harsh surroundings that treated it so badly in the past. Great piece of photography. I suspect I shall muse over it for some time
I shall take a look at the rest of your portfolio too later…
Thanks Kelly, it is always nice for people to comment on my work, There will be more of the hotel when I get around to it.
I stayed at The Midland for a couple of nights earlier in the year. It’s an incredible place, inside and out. These are wonderful photos too!
Thanks for your comment Fiona. I agree it is a wonderful place.
