Antidote to Snow photographs- Lancashire coastal architecture in the sun

January 5th, 2010

I am sure you are all having fun in the snow. Well I think it is great but I am sick of snow scene photographs so here is my antidote. Off to the coast I went this weekend and discovered the new promenade architecture at Cleveleys of all places. Not a flake of snow in sight just beautiful blue skies with the fantastic low winter sun, I felt like I was abroad (apart from the bitter cold of course!!). I have not been to the prom at Cleveleys for a few years  I was very pleasantly surprised, very modern, architectural and concrete (I love the stuff). What a contrast to the scenes of deep snow at home. Lancashire a county of contrasts and thats just the weather. Anyway enough of my ramblings here are some of the pictures I took. Oh by the way Happy New Year.
