Plant Portraits - New Gallery
May 2015
As some of you will know I do like a bit of gardening and veg growing and have supplied photography to magazines such as Gardens Illustrated published by the BBC.
So where is this going, well I have been toying with the idea of adding a plant portraits section to my site, I know it isn't corporate portraits and architecture but maybe in some way it combines the two.
I have always photographed plants and flowers right from my college days over 20 years ago. During my time at college I was researching into the Japanese style of flower arranging called Ikebana, which can be a very simple paired down form of arranging. When I decided to create a setup using wire and various architectural plants such as lilies one of my lecturers thought I was into torturing flowers Bizarre!!
Any way there are no tortured specimens here why not take a look art the new gallery

I will be adding more and more over the next few months as the seasons change
Hope you like them
